BRIDGWATER Green Week got underway on Sunday (August 21) with a couple of great fun events.
First up was Shurton Beach Clean, which incorporated a fun nurdle hunt.
A group of 10 people picked up litter from the beach and completed a survey on the findings.
Equipment for the day was loaned by Rage Against Rubbish.
Also taking place over the weekend was the Bridgwater Blue heritage project at The Meads.
People were encouraged to take along a picnic as they learned about the year-old project.
And there was ditch dipping, bird watching and a water vole presentation.
Bridgwater Green Week continues until Saturday (August 27) with activities including a moths walk, free bicycle tune up and 'building masterpieces' out of recycled materials.
