The Somerset Maternity Voices Partnership recently hosted their family fun day at The Nurture Shed in Bridgwater.
The event was an opportunity to say a big thank you to volunteers for all of their support and involvement over the past year.
The MVP is an independent organisation that works with maternity commissioners and providers to bring the voices and experiences of families into the design and development of maternity and neonatal care in Somerset.
Donna Butland, chairman, said "It's so important that those who use our maternity and neonatal services get involved and share their experiences to ensure services in Somerset fit the needs of those who use them.
"We are so grateful to all of our volunteers for everything they do to support our work, the family day has been a great success.
"We'd also like to say a special thank you to our friends at the Nurture Shed for hosting us today, it really is an amazing community venue and the food was delicious."
