AN Ashcott man has been handed a six-week suspended prison sentence for breaching a community order.

Jonathan Paul Frost, 36, of Meadow Court, showed a "wilful and persistent failure to comply with the requirements" of the order, Taunton Magistrates' Court heard.

He was also handed an 18-month supervision order and banned form drinking alcohol for 120 days.

NICK Allan Lovelace Lloyd admitted two counts of sending e-mails in breach of a non-molestation order.

Lloyd, 36, of Talbot Close, Highbridge, received a community order and must carry out 120 hours unpaid work.

He was also given a restraining order and must pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

ROBERT Steele admitted missing appointments he was ordered to attend by the court.

Steele, 46, of Canonsgrove Halls of Residence, in Staplehay, was sentenced for the original offence of theft of a computer and label maker from Acorn Solicitors, in Upper High Street, Taunton.

He was given a 10-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £30 costs.
