HOUSEBUILDER Crest Nicholson has unveiled its show home at Grange Meadows in Cannington.

The four-bedroom Romsey home has been designed with modern family living in mind.

It provides flexible living space to accommodate entertaining, family life and homeworking with a kitchen-dining area spanning the entire rear of the property, providing direct access to the garden through french doors. The downstairs also features a separate living room.

Upstairs, the Romsey has three double bedrooms and a single, which can be used as a nursery, home office or hobby room.

The main bedroom benefits from built in wardrobes and ensuite, while the remaining bedrooms have access to a family bathroom.

There is also a garage and parking for two vehicles.

Crest Nicholson regional sales and marketing director Clare Brimble said: "The properties on offer at Grange Meadows are perfect for a range of modern buyers looking for a versatile home.

“The four- and five-bedroom house types available here are ideally suited for purchasers looking to upsize."

Interior designer Andrew Henry Interiors have dressed the Romsey show home, giving potential home buyers the opportunity to envisage themselves living at Grange Meadows.

Designer Georgia Penney said: "The aim of this design was to create a warm country-style home that was perfect for a young family.

"The style is eclectic country to create a contemporary twist on a classic design, accommodating Crest Nicholson’s modern buyers.

"Feature wall art in the dining room makes a decorative statement, while rustic accessories such as wooden cooking utensils, vases and floral prints featured throughout the house add to the country feel. We also wanted to cater to those working from home by creating a designated workspace, showing what can be done with the space in the Romsey.”

Once complete, the development will consist of 73 properties from Crest Nicholson’s new range of house types, with the first residents expected to move in from this summer.

Located on the edge of the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the development is enveloped by the surrounding countryside and residents will have a variety of walking and cycle trails on their doorstep.
