POLICE stepped in to prevent a planned rave in a beauty spot last night (Saturday, July 9).
Officers from the Minehead and West Somerset Neighbourhood Policing team were out patrolling following several recent reports of a number of raves in the area.
A spokesperson for the policing team said: "Officers from the West Somerset Neighbourhood Team were out patrolling our vast rural areas last night following a number of raves being reported in the area recently.
"One was prevented from being set up on the Quantock Hills and also resulted in a positive drugs search."
