TAUNTON District Schools FA held their first annual awards for a couple of years earlier this week and they were well attended at Taunton’s Wyvern Club.

The setting was ideal to accommodate 100 players and family members, plus guest presenters.

Presenting awards on the night were Bristol City FC player Tommy Conway, Taunton Town chairman and CEO Kevin Sturmey, Taunton mayor Sue Lees, VC Somerset West & Taunton Richard Lees, and Bridgwater & Taunton College sports development manager Mason Galloway.

As well as celebrating the individual awards the evening served to celebrate each age group reaching a final, plus wins in The Somerset Inter-District County Cup & South West Inter-District Championship.
