THE Bridgwater AreaCycling Campaign committee held its first Active Travel Day at Bridgwater Town Hall.

The event, on Saturday, May 21, covered aspects of active travel including walking, cycling, and use of public transport with a view to reducing our carbon footprint, keeping active, and enjoying the local area.

The local police PCSO attended to security mark bikes, local charity On Your Bike provided free bike maintenance workshops and the engine rooms presented a wonderful pedal-powered project.

There will also be stallholders including Sedgemoor (talking about the regeneration of the dock) Somerset Road Safety Partnership, and the bus user group amongst many others.

Below is a photo gallery from the day.
