A NEW defibrillator has been installed in Bridgwater, on Dunkery Road.

A town resident, Mr Martin Priddis, approached the Town Council Ward Councillors Gill Slocombe and Rachel Lilley, expressing the need for the life-saving machine within the area.

The defibrillator was installed at the Nisa store.

Bridgwater Town Council staff sourced the defibrillator, which was kindly installed free of charge by Adrian Robson from Robson’s Electric.

Bridgwater Town Council funded £1,000 for the defibrillator which came from the Ward Grant Scheme.

The remaining cost was covered by the shop manager, Richard, from NISA.
