North Newton School pupils were shortlisted for writing awards
PUPILS from North Newton School recently took part in a creative writing competition and were shortlisted for awards.
The school had five children shortlisted for awards at a ceremony due to take place at Wells Cathedral in May.
The class entered the Anne Frank creative writing awards, having been inspired by Anne’s story, which they learned about as part of our WW2 topic.
Recently, year 5/6 schoolchildren wrote poems based on the work by the acclaimed writer Joshua Seigal, Don’t Get Me Started.
