A BRIDGWATER business has celebrated its success at the tourism awards.
The Purplespoon Café won two golds and a bronze at the latest Bristol, Bath, and Somerset Tourism Awards.
The business won the gold for the Age-Friendly Tourism Business Award, sponsored by Age UK Somerset, another gold for the Café/Tearoom of the Year category, and a bronze for the Dog-Friendly Business of the Year category.
Kate Gardiner, the owner of the café/restaurant, said: “I feel very privileged to have even been considered for a shortlist, let alone to go on to win two golds and a bronze. Absolutely stunned and over the moon and so proud of the team for their brilliant work.”
The final ceremony of the awards was held online last week.
