POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a boy was threatened by a gang of teenagers with knives in Bridgwater.

Officers are also asking for anyone with CCTV footage of the incident in the Bower Fields area of Bridgwater to come forward.

The victim, who is in his mid-teens, was threatened by five or six boys of a similar age on Thursday, January 20, at about 4.30pm.

One of the offenders has been described as being a white male aged 16, of slim build, with blond hair, around 6ft tall, wearing a dark blue tracksuit.

Police believe this was an isolated incident in which the offenders and victim were known to each other.
