A CASUALTY was rescued after a single vehicle collision near Minehead earlier today (February 6).
Fire engines from Dulverton and Minehead were called to the incident around 11.45am in Winsford.
A heavy rescue vehicle and supporting officer from Taunton also attended.
A vehicle was on its roof and a person was trapped inside.
"Crews successfully extricated the casualty using hydraulic rescue equipment, small tools, and stabilisation equipment," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"The casualty was left in the hands of the ambulance service and duty of care of this incident was left with the police."
