A STUDENT from the Crocker’s Centre Cannington, which is part of Bridgwater and Taunton College, decided to use his newly found craft and enterprise skills to raise money for the RSPCA.
Alongside his one to one tutor, Andre Marques raised £50 for the animal charity by making driftwood Christmas trees.
He designed, planned, collected resources, made and advertised the trees using the employability skills he has gained during his Transition to Further Education study programme.
Andre and his tutor are now working with the RSPCA to pursue a work placement at the West Hatch animal welfare centre.
