CAROL singers will be spreading festive cheer in Cockermouth.
The Cockermouth Christian Centre, based at The Ark, near the Highfield Centre, will be running a pop-up carol service, touring the east side of the town from 4pm to 6.30pm on December 5 and 12.
The singers will be accompanied by a Christmas tableau on a trailer and handing out goodie bags to youngsters.
Member Edward Bebbington said: "Last year we did this on a very small scale, this year we are reaching out to more people.
"We just want to bring the spirit of Christmas into town and share the good news of Jesus arriving in the world.
"People can join in if they would like."
Everyone is also welcome to join in their carol service at 10.30am, on Sunday, December 19, at The Ark.
