THERE was plenty of catching up to do at a craft fair in Othery Village Hall on Saturday (November 27).

The stallholders were delighted to be back in the hall to meet up with friends old and new following the restrictions.

Local artisans and crafters showcased their creations.

Refreshments were available throughout and a prize draw was held in the afternoon.

Village hall secretary Bridget Gander said: "The whole event was a success with many visitors taking advantage of the pop up cafe - the bacon rolls were a popular choice.

"The stallholders enjoyed being back in the hall and meeting up with friends old and new.

"We weren't as busy as we might have hoped but the weather did us no favours.

"Stallholders and villagers made generous donations to the raffle, where we raised £275 for the upkeep of the hall.

"We hope to run the event again next year, Covid permitting."
