MEET little Ayda, winner of the 2020 Little Angels competition, who saw off competition from dozens of entrants to be named Bridgwater’s most adorable toddler.

Her father, Bill Chambers, said it felt 'amazing' that Ayda had won.

“It is wicked really," said Bill.

"My other daughter won the competition in 2018, and my niece won it in 2015. So we have got three winners in the family now.”

Ayda's family will be presented with a 20x16 canvas of the winning image, courtesy of Timeless Images, a Wheelybug Bee thanks to Hippychick and a certificate from the Bridgwater Mercury.

Other winners include little Phoenix who came in second place and Indie-Rose, who took third place.

“I am buzzing, my son came second fair and square," said Hayley Clapp, Phoenix's mum.

"He must have had a fair few votes.

“He looked cute. He has come second I am happy. I am just really glad he came second, he is a beautiful boy and he deserves it.”

Second place has won 16x12 print of the winning image and a Dena 12 piece rainbow and third place will take home a 10x12 print and a HappyHopperz Green Dino.

Rob Stacey, newspaper sales manager for the Bridgwater Mercury, added: ‘I am delighted that the families of Bridgwater have taken part in our annual Little Angels promotion.
