A COACH caught fire in Bridgwater yesterday evening (November 25).
Two fire engines and the water carrier from Bridgwater were sent to the incident around 10pm.
The fire was in the engine of the vehicle, and caused 100 per cent damage to that compartment.
"Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus wearers and one hose reel jet," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"The fire caused 100% fire damage to the engine compartment and approximately 20% fire damage to the passenger compartment.
"The cause was accidental. Duty of care was left with the police."
