A MAN needed medical treatment for facial injuries after an assault in Bridgwater.

Police are keen to hear from anyone with information regarding the incident, which happened at between 1am and 3am on Saturday, October 30.

The victim, who is in his 20s, was attacked in the High Street.

"He required medical treatment for facial injuries but is no longer in hospital," said an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson.

Witnesses are being urged to call 101 and give the call-handler reference number 5221255501.
