FOUR people became trapped after a three vehicle crash near Bridgwater last night (October 7).
Three fire engines and a heavy rescue unit from Bridgwater and Glastonbury attended the incident in Middlezoy around 10pm.
There were four people trapped in two cars. Five people were taken to hospital via road and air ambulance.
"Three casualties were released by fire and ambulance personnel using hydraulic cutting equipment, stabilisation equipment, small tools and lighting," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
