A MAN suffered a bleed to the brain after being attacked by a group in Bridgwater.
Police are hunting the attackers after the incident, in Bridgwater High Street, at around 2.30am on Saturday, August 28.
"The victims had just left a takeaway and were heading towards Angel Place when they were followed by a group of men," said a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police.
"One of the victims, a 31-year-old man, was then punched, causing him to fall to the ground and lose consciousness. He suffered a broken nose and bleed to the brain.
"The second victim, a 27-year-old man, was punched in the face and suffered a mouth injury."
Police want to hear from anyone who saw the incident, or who has any information about those involved, on 101, reference number 5221198778.
