HUNDREDS of people took on the Bridgwater Half Marathon on Sunday (September 5) showing impressive levels of endurance running.
On a foggy Somerset morning the racers set off from Bridgwater Morganians Rugby Club.
The half marathon runners made their way from the rugby club out toward Chedzoy and the surrounding areas of Bridgwater, then back to the finish line at the rugby club.
As well as the main Bridgwater Half Marathon, the event also included a 10k race and a 5k fun run.
The whole day was successful, raising funds for Cancer Research through a raffle.
Christian Green was the quickest runner to finish the half marathon in a time of 1:11:32, whilst the fastest female runner was Gill Pearson, with a time of 1:24:48.
