TWO neighbourhoods in Somerset are among 14 in England and Wales postcode areas that have recorded NO Covid deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to official figures.
Dunster, Dulverton and Exmoor, in West Somerset, and Weston Winterstoke, in North Somerset, have seen no coronavirus-related fatalities.
The same is true of Dunkesewell, Upottery and Stockland, just over the county border in East Devon
The figures have been released today (Tuesday, August 3) by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
The 14 areas with no Covid deaths were in Bristol, Cornwall, East Devon, the Isles of Scilly, Leeds, Manchester, Devon, Somerset, Plymouth, Oxfordshire and Conwy.
