The police centre at Express Park, Bridgwater
A WOMAN was arrested last week for possession of a kitchen knife in the car park of a police centre.
Maria May Hughes, 38, admitted at Taunton Magistrates' Court committing the offence at Avon and Somerset Police's Express Park centre in Bridgwater last Thursday (July 1).
Hughes, of Manor Road, Weston-super-Mare, also pleaded guilty to assaulting by beating an on-duty police officer in Bridgwater on the same day.
She was committed to Taunton Crown Court for sentencing.
