A WELL-KNOWN organic dairy brand is hoping to tempt holidaymakers to Somerset, offering them something a bit more exciting than milk and yogurt.

With travel restrictions likely to remain in place for the foreseeable future many people are opting to holiday a little closer to home, so Yeo Valley are inviting people to take an adventure with them instead this summer.

The Blagdon-based farm will be opening its garden gates to host a wide variety of events, suitable for the whole family.

Creative Director, Sarah Mead, said: “Now is the perfect time to come and visit us here in the Yeo Valley Organic garden.

“We are looking forward to welcoming you, whether that is to a cookery demi demo in our new Yurt in the Meadow, getting green in the garden, or finding out more about how we farm on a farm to fridge day.

“If you are spoilt for choice, then why not try a bit of both - cooking and gardening rolled into one fabulous day.

“We’ve got lots of outdoor events taking place at our Organic Garden and farm from art classes, ballet, to BBQ evenings; there’s something for everyone to enjoy and to make the most out of the British summer time.”

In a normal year, Yeo Valley welcomes up to 50,000 visitors to its organic farm, garden and headquarters and the team are keen to welcome people back in 2021 in reduced numbers with their new outdoor events schedule.
