A CAMPERVAN was 'completely destroyed' by fire last night.
The vehicle caught light on the side of the M5 motorway northbound between junctions 24 and 23, for Bridgwater and Burnham, at around 8.50pm.
Two fire crews from Bridgwater attended the scene.
"On arrival crews confirmed the vehicle well alight, and got straight to work with two breathing apparatus sets and one hose reel jet," said an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson.
"Crews then used a compressed air foam jet due to a running fuel fire coming from the vehicle.
"The vehicle was fully destroyed by the fire, and the cause was accidental." Duty of care of the scene was left with the Police and Highways.
