FROME and Wembdon Cricket Clubs' Women’s 1st XIs had their latest Softball League Division 1 fixture on Sunday.
The two teams, and Clevedon Women, converged on Wembdon's home ground, The Green, for three matches over the afternoon.
Each team claimed one win and one defeat, with Wembdon beating Frome by 29 runs, Frome seeing off Clevedon by 58 runs, and Clevedon overcoming Wembdon by 12 runs.
Both Frome and Wembdon are due to face each other again, as well as Midsomer Norton (at Midsomer Norton), on June 20.
