CREWS tackled a tractor fire near Bridgwater yesterday afternoon (June 8).

A fire engine and water carrier from Bridgwater attended the incident in Westonzoyland.

The tractor was 90 per cent damaged by fire.

"Upon arrival crews confirmed one tractor and trailer to be well alight and extinguished using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.

"The tractor was 90 per cent damaged by fire and a grass cutting topper was 5 per cent damaged by fire.
