THUNDERSTORMS could hit parts of Somerset today (June 2).
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, which started at 5am and it set to end at 11am.
The warning covers parts of West Somerset, including Minehead.
There could be a short term loss of power and other services, as well as disruption to travel across the South West.
However, from tomorrow (Thursday), the weather is looking clearer and brighter, with high temperatures of 21 °C.
"It will be largely fine and dry on Friday and Saturday, however feeling cooler than previous days," said a spokesperson for the Met Office.
"It will be cloudier on Sunday with showers and the occasional sunny interval."
