DELAYS are expected on a key route through Dorset as temporary traffic lights will be in place for two weeks.
Essential water supply work means there will be temporary traffic lights on the A351 in Wareham from Thursday, May 13.
Two-way lights, located near Sandford Terrace, will only be in use at off-peak times in order to minimise disruption. The work is expected to last two weeks.
A spokesman for Wessex Water apologised for any delays and noted that their workers will work 'extended hours' to ensure the repairs are completed.
He said: “Our repair teams will be working extended hours, including weekends, in order to complete this essential work as quickly as possible. We’re sorry for any delays caused.”
The A351 serves as a main route through Wareham and connects the town to the busy A35 near Lytchett Minster.
