THREE cars were on fire in Shepton Mallet last night (May 11).
Two fire engines from Shepton Mallet attended the incident on Bath Road in Oakhill around 9.50pm.
The fire ended up involving five cars and was thought to have been started deliberately.
"On arrival, the incident commander confirmed that three cars were well alight and got crews to work to tackle the fire using a hose reel jet and compressed air foam," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"The fire ended up involving five cars and was thought to have been started deliberately so police were informed."
