THERE are a variety of roadworks starting this week across Somerset.
Take note if you are out and about this week as traffic could be worse than normal.
According to Travel Somerset, the roadworks starting this week are:
Monday
- Bancombe Road, Somerton - 39 working days - various works - two way traffic signals
- All Saints Terrace, Bridgwater - 19 working days - connection to drainage, water and gas lines - road closure
- Lightgate lane, South Petherton - 15 working days - sewage connection - traffic control
- Dunster to Timberscombe Road, Dunster - 15 working days - drainage scheme - road closure
- Lower New Road, Cheddar - 13 working days - new gas mains to be laid - road closure
- White House Lane, Edingworth - 10 working days - drainage scheme - road closure
- Ansons Hill, Kilve - five working days - vegetation removal and masonry works - road closure
- Long Hill, Cucklington - four working days - jetting works - road closure
Wednesday
- Slade Lane, Old Cleeve - three working days - resurfacing
Friday
- Town Street, Shepton Mallet - one day - resin surfacing
