AN unusual outdoor cinema event is coming to Somerset hills this summer.

T&R Events Ltd have organised two hot tub movie events on the Quantock Hills on June 26 an July 10.

The event is described as a "unique" experience, during which attendees will be sat in a hot tub with friends , enjoying a bottle of prosecco or beer, whilst watching a film.

On both days there will be a Kidflix event from 10.30am until 2.30pm, during which families can watch Peter Rabbit 2.

There will also be bouncy castles, face painting, a childrens entertainer and a BBQ.

And during the events, from 4.30pm until 9.30pm, there will be TubFest for adults 18+. Guests will be able to watch Pulp Fiction.

There will also be pre-movie entertainment, a music video after the film and a walking magician, as well as a bar and BBQ.

A spokesperson for T&R Events said: "Instead of looking at a dodgy projector screen, drowned out by the evening sun, you're looking at a full HD 5 metre LED screen.

"And instead of being in a carpark or some other mundane place, you're in a field, on top of a hill, with views stretching more than 50 miles into the distance.

"We offer tub-side service, so you don't need to move a finger to order your food or drink!

"Whilst the exact location of the event is yet to be announced, TubFest will be held on the top of the Quantock Hills, roughly halfway between Taunton and Bridgwater.

"Full directions to the event and further information will be provided in due course, and ticket holders will be the first to know.”

Guests can also book a chair ticket if they would prefer not to be in a hot tub.
