FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue several cows from farm buildings on fire.
Crews were sent to the incident on a farm in Cannington Road, Nether Stowey at 5am yesterday (Friday).
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "On arrival crews confirmed a range of farm buildings use for cattle and feed storage were involved.
"Crews assisted in moving animals to other buildings and the owner was contacted.
"Crews are using two main jets, 1 hose reel jet, and compressed air foam to extinguish the fire."
