A RESTAURANT in Bridgwater donated meals to hospital staff last Tuesday (April 20).
Spice Club, an Indian restaurant and takeaway on Eastover, gave traditional Indian Karahi gosht and vegetarian dishes to Bridgwater Hospital on Bower Lane.
Moudud Kamali, manager of Spice Club, said they wanted to thanks NHS staff for their hard work over the past year.
"It’s important to show our support to all the key workers during this pandemic," he said.
"We have donated food to the hospital before and we plan to do it in the future.
"We think it is important to support the local community and local services and will endeavour to do so in future."
Lisa Blackburn, a housekeeper at Bridgwater Hospital, collected the donations on Tuesday lunchtime.
