POLICE are not treating as suspicious the sudden death of a man in Bridgwater earlier this month.
Emergency services were called to the West Quay area of the town, which was cordoned off following the man's death.
There was a police presence in the area following the incident at 6.10pm on Sunday, March 87
Initially officers said they were treating the death as "unexplained".
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson has now issued a statement saying: "We do not believe the death to be suspicious.
"Enquiries continue and anyone with information should contact us and give reference 5221049146."
