FIRE crews were called to an electricity cable that was "sparking" and "arcing" this morning (March 11).
The cable was down as a tree had fallen onto the power line as a result of the high winds.
Crews from Williton and Minehead went to the incident on Dashwoods Lane, Bicknoller at around 10.15am.
Several properties were without power this morning - including 29 homes in Bicknoller.
