POLICE are warning they could seize bikes of people cycling anti-socially in and around a Bridgwater park.
There have been a number of reports of people riding their bikes in an anti-social manner in the Wooden Park area.
A spokesperson for Sedgemoor Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Public parks are open for everybody and must be a place where everyone feels safe.
"We take anti-social behaviour in these areas very seriously and will be increasing our patrols in these areas in the coming weeks.
"Anyone found riding a bike anti-socially may end up having it seized under section 37 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014.
"Please take care when riding your bikes through public places, maintaining awareness of your surroundings and helping to keep everybody safe.
"We ask anyone with these concerns to call them in via 101."
