A SOMERSET district has seen just four positive Covid tests in the past three days.
Somerset West and Taunton recorded three new confirmed cases in figures covering the latest 48-hour period and one case in the preceding 24 hours.
Over the latest two day-period, South Somerset had 29 positive tests; there were 14 in Sedgemoor and 18 in Mendip.
The overall number of cases per district now stand at South Somerset 5,079; SWT 5,811; Sedgemoor 5,088; and Mendip 3,325.
The rate of infection based on the latest seven-day rolling figures are 39.8 people per 100,000 of population in South Somerset (down from 40.4 at the weekend); SWT 28.4 per 100,000 (previously 34.8); 54.4 in Sedgemoor (down from 58.3); and 40.7 in Mendip (down from 46.7).
