UPDATE: Police say Peter has been found alive and well.

POLICE have expressed concern for the welfare of an 84-year-old man who went missing earlier today (Thursday).

Peter has disappeared from North Somerset.

Officers believe he has travelled in a car, potentially to South Somerset.

The car is a silver Volvo XC70, registration number WR53GDA.

Peter is described as white, of average build and approximately 5ft 8in or 5ft 9in.

Ge wears glasses and was wearing a red jumper and black trousers when last seen.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We are concerned for his welfare and we ask anyone who sees him to call 999 and give reference number 5221046993."
