AS unlikely as it seems, US rockers Aerosmith look to be the first act to self-confirm for next year's Glastonbury Festival.

The Boston band, famed for hits including I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing and Love In An Elevator, have included a June 25 date at Glastonbury in their list of tour dates for next year.

Previously, they were confirmed for the 2020 event, prior to it being cancelled.

Glastonbury organisers called off the rescheduled 2021 event last month, citing the unpredictability of the coronavirus pandemic.
