A SECTION of road in Somerset has been closed for safety reasons after this tree fell onto the carriageway yesterday (Sunday).
The A361 at Coursing Batch, Glastonbury, was closed and diversions put in place.
The tree is expected to be removed today (Monday), after which the road will re-open.
A Travel Somerset spokesperson said: "Tree surgeons are on site and removing it, but whilst they do so this section of road is closed.
"And the closure is expected to be lifted later today."
