A MAN was attacked by a group of five other men and left unconscious in the street in Bridgwater.
The 30-year-old victim was unable to make his way home after the assault in Wellington Road, on Thursday, January 25, between 7pm and 8pm.
He attended hospital, where it was discovered he had two fractured ribs.
He reported the incident to police the following day.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "If you saw the assault or have any CCTV or dashcam footage which could help the police investigation, call 101 quoting reference 5221018341."
