More than 80 coronavirus cases recorded in latest 24 hour period
THE number of positive Covid-19 tests in Somerset in the latest 24-hour figures was 87.
Somerset West and Taunton saw the biggest rise with 35 new cases recorded - taking the total confirmed cases in the district since the start of the pandemic to 5,432.
Sedgemoor also had 18 new confirmed cases, giving it an overall total of 4591.
South Somerset saw 17 positive tests, taking its total since the start of the pandemic to 4,669.
And Mendip had 17 new confirmed cases for an overall total of 3,033.
