A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for ice in parts of Somerset.
Parts of Mendip and Sedgemoor could have icy patches from 8pm tonight (January 30) until 11am tomorrow (January 31).
"You can expect some injuries from slips and falls," said a spokesperson for the Met Office.
"And there will be some icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths."
The roads will be gritted tonight around 9pm, to help with the risk of ice.
Rain this afternoon, possibly turning to sleet over the highest routes, before clearing away. Dry and clear afterwards, so risk of ice. We will be on the road around 9pm to salt the main roads #somersetgrit
