TWO women were trapped in their car after it hit a bank and crashed.
Firefighters were sent to the incident at Buncombe Hill, Broomfield, at 3.45pm today (Sunday) following multiple 999 calls.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "On arrival the incident commander confirmed one vehicle had collided with the bank resulting in two females trapped within the vehicle.
Crews got to work stabilising the vehicle using stabfast and making efforts to access the vehicle using small tools.
"Two females were extricated from the vehicle and checked over by on scene paramedics.
"Duty of care was left in the hands of police."
