Nine Covid-19 related deaths in Somerset in one day
TRAGICALLY nine Covid-19 related deaths have been recorded in Somerset in the latest 24-hour period.
The deaths from any cause of people who had tested positive within the past 28 days were made up of five in the Somerset West and Taunton district and four in Mendip.
The overall death toll from the coronavirus in the county council area has now risen to 297.
The breakdown of deaths in each district is 114 in South Somerset; 87 in Somerset West and Taunton; 97 in Sedgemoor; and 99 in Mendip.
