A FURTHER two Covid-19 related deaths were recorded in Somerset over the weekend.
Figures released by the Government show one person died in the South Somerset district and another in Mendip.
Both had tested positive for the virus within the past 28 days.
The total number of people dying since the start of the pandemic within 28 days of confirmation of having the coronavirus has risen to 103 in South Somerset and 86 in Mendip.
A total of 70 deaths have been recorded in Somerset West and Taunton and 90 in Sedgemoor.
The toll in the county council area is now 349.
