A WOMAN was rescued from the water in Bridgwater early yesterday morning (December 27).
Crews from the town were sent to the town bridge after reports of a person stuck in the water at just after 5.30am on Sunday morning.
The crews, including a specialist rescue team, used a triple extension ladder, dry suits and a line system to free the female from the water who was left in the hands of the ambulance service, A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.
