APPEAL: To people putting up their Christmas lights in the coming weeks
AS we look forward to Christmas lights in our shopping centres and residential roads, can I make a request on behalf of people who have light-sensitive epilepsy?
Please use the option of a slow sequence of lights turning on and off, rather than the very rapid changes.
Rapid change lighting sequences like these can make December a misery for people with light sensitive epilepsy, risking a seizure which can ruin a trip into town and leave them very tired for the rest of the day.
