A SOUTHAMPTON man caught three times the drink drive limit has been banned.
Kamaljeet Singh was caught drink driving on Wimpson Lane on September 8.
The 40-year-old was found to have 122 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded drink driving.
Singh, of Mansel Road East, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for two years and fined £1,000.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £100 and court costs of £85.
